The
G.A.S. JJ (Geração Arte Suave Jiu Jitsu, best translated
as: Jiu Jitsu Smooth Art Generation) was created in 2003, by Luiz
Dias, black belt. Aiming mainly at the gathering of Jiu-Jitsu fighters,
competitors or not, to practice and fight , whether taking part or
not in competitions. The GAS JJ Club, in the daily practice, has the
objective of linking the technique to the mind and body balance. The
class methodology at GAS JJ is always aimed at the improvement of
the technical level of our fighters as well as the strengthening of
friendship, which are extended form the dojo to daily life.
The G.A.S. JJ holds as its symbol, twisted belts, meaning the Jiu-Jitsu
philosophical concepts, as the element that forms citizens with strong
character and connected to a family. From this perspective, our martial
ar, known as "ARTE SUAVE"( better translated as "SMOOTH
ART") that is already the translation into Portuguese of the
term Jiu-Jitsu, as a linking bond between athletes who transcend ages,
and the competitive or non-competitive athletes profile, connecting
everybody in a big family.
